Southwest Biofuel Regional Center (SBRC)


SBRC was formed to promote the economic development of a forty nine (49) county rural region in Northwest Texas and Western Oklahoma by facilitating investment by foreign nationals seeking immigration benefits in the United States into the development, construction and operation of fuel grade ethanol and bio-diesel production facilities.

State, Local and Community Support for SBRC as a Regional Center

SBRC has received extensive letters of support for its proposed business operation as a Regional Center from local and State government bodies and agencies in Texas as well as from the local business communities. These letters of support include a letter of support from State Representative Warren Chisum, State Senator Kel Seliger, Office of the Governor (Economic Development and Tourism) and Director Tom Dressler of the Panhandle Regional Planning Commission.
