Especially my eldest child was about to graduate from college. In January of 2004, I was introduced to a Japanese immigration lawyer in California. At the time, everyone recommended that I hire either a Japanese or a Jewish lawyer, which I did. But I started experiencing communication problems and felt that my cases wasn't being given the attention it needed. I waited two years and finally I decided it was time to get second advise.

I saw an advertisement for the Law Offices of Lee and Kent and about the EB-5 program. I gave Lee and Kent a call. The information I received over the phone was very helpful, and so I visited the office for a consultation. My wife and I met with Mr. [Justin] Lee who explained the investment project and the immigration procedure. He also assessed my case and gave his personal opinion. He didn't insist that I file for a green card application through the Eb5 program but rather explained that the type of green card application for which I filed for usually took time. That was what convinced me that Mr. Lee was a sincere person.

Because of my bad experience with my former lawyer, I would call Mr. Lee constantly about my case but then at some point, the table turned. Mr. Lee and his staff was very prompt. Our approval came within two months of us filling out the paper work. We received our approval of documents in the beginning of May. At first, we didn't believe it. I was so happy when I received the actual notice from the law office.

On May 14, which was Mother's Day, we received a flower delivery. We didn't know anyone else in the U.S so we thought it was a wrong delivery. But, it was from the Eb-5 team.
